West Drayton is a small town with a railway station, just 1.5 miles from Heathrow Airport. It runs into the town of Yiewsley, once you have passed the station and crossed over the Grand Union Canal towards Uxbridge.

We have very good amenities nearby, including good but economical restaurants and pubs, banks, ATMs, internet cafes, a post office, launderette, garages and a wide selection of shops, supermarkets and charity shops.

As well as being close to Heathrow, Oakwood Guest House is well-placed for: Stockley Park, Hayes, Staines, Iver, Kew Gardens, Hampton Court Palace, Windsor Castle, Legoland and Oxford.

Located just 5 minutes from the M4 and Heathrow by car or taxi; the guest house also has very good transport links. Oakwood is close to the M4, M25 and M40 motorways and benefits from a highly efficient Uxbridge area local bus network, with stops very close by. A regular Thames Train service runs to Paddington/London every 15 minutes Monday to Friday, or to Slough, Reading and Oxford in the opposite direction, from West Drayton Station.

The station is just a 5 minute walk away. Inexpensive, reliable local taxi service can be arranged to and from Heathrow airport by our staff. There is a frequent, efficient connecting National Express coach service from Gatwick, Stansted and Luton Airports to Heathrow.
